gdecrypt — GUI for mapping/mounting encrypted partitions
SYNOPSIS
gdecrypt [ENCRYPTED_DEVICE] [MOUNTPOINT]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the gdecrypt program.
gdecrypt was written for making the use of decrypted partitions under
Linux more easy. It currently contains a GUI written in PyGTK for
decrypting/mounting, unmounting and encryption partitions or container
files and it supports partitions created with truecrypt (see
http://truecrypt.org for details) and LUKS.
Note that truecrypt <= 4.3a is required for truecrypt supprt and crypt‐
setup with luks is required for luks support
OPTIONS
ENCRYPTED_DEVICE MOUNTPOINT
If used, gdecrypt starts up with ENCRYPTED_DEVICE in the par‐
tition field and MOUNTPOINT in the mountpoint field as
default. By default, the partition field is empty and the
mountpoint field points to /media.
